Producers can generate full song ideas, grab samples, loops, patches, or even mixing suggestions from the machine. Tracks originally created entirely by humans are being analyzed, optimized, or rearranged by AI. The line between human creativity and algorithmic assistance is blurring – and we act as if this is still a vision of the future?
The real question: Is the current debate around AI in the music scene a genuine discussion about art and creativity – or just staged outrage, masking the fact that practically every producer is already using AI? Could it be that this “debate” is more of a ritual to control the scene, while in practice everyone is quietly working with AI?
